You know you're losing it when ...
You don't remember changing your blog design. Time to restart this puppy.... tomorrow. Hey, I pretty much lost all my readership on my unscheduled hiatus so it's like starting from scratch so tomorrow is as good as today right? right?

Things I've neglected to do but will... EVENTUALLY!
So out of everything that my husband (*note to self* gotta think of a cool pen name for him) the last thing I expected was him to ask me about whether or not I still blog. I mean seriously he only knows I have one and the one he knows about is one that I haven't written to longer than I've written here. The sad thing is that I really didn't really have an answer for him. I mean I have had times where I wanted to post (and didn't). I have the blogger app on my IPhone (unused since installation) and I have created a much angrier blog (which I will not share) in which I vent in raw fashion (completely out of character for me but it's therapeutic nonetheless).
I meant this blog to be about my trials and tribulations as a new mom but of course time to actually sit down to type something understandable has long since been a fantasy that I have let go of. It's been a year since McNubbin was born and let me tell you for the first few months things like showers became more of a luxury than an everyday occurrence. I honestly think that's why they give us maternity leave... In the first few weeks any dainty femininity is thrown to the wind and replaced with t shirts covered in spit up and *accidents* and alot of not so pretty things nobody wants to witness let alone your employer. Not that I'm complaining... those 3 months with my daughter were awesome. Made me really want to be a SAHM sometimes. I have fantasies of making healthy breakfasts and lunches and being all June Cleaver like but alas bills need to be paid and living in NY a single income family is no longer in existence (well not in my corner of it anyway).
Here I am, long passed the newborn, breastfeeding, cooing lump phase and now the mother of a full fledged walking, talking (she said MAMA on Sunday) 1 year old and all I can think about is all the things Ive wanted to do but didn't.
So here I am making a list of things I want to do (learn) before her next birthday..
1. Cake Decorating: I was bitten by this bug a few years ago (proven by the collection of Wilton emblem bearing kitchen gadgets) but since I now have at least one birthday cake to bake/decorate per year, I want to make it special thus method education is necessary.
2. Quickutz Sillouette: During a particularly lazy Sunday, I was up early (never happens) and realizing that apparently every channel at that time is infomercial central, I was suddenly intrigued by a jolly looking lady saying things like "with just a press of a button" and "how cute is that?!?". As I watched paper being cut into Disney characters and fancy words, I never wanted to be a scrapbooker more in MY LIFE! But previously fallen victim to the infomercial demon, I was able to stand my ground just long enough to google the crap out of the subject. I didn't end up buying the "with just a push of a button" machine (it needs expensive cartridges SOLD SEPARATELY) but I ended up purchasing it's less costly (not by much) PC font friendly cousin. Number of times used: 2 (1 if you're counting successful projects). Now since I am now a mom I maymake up have reasons to need titles and pictures cut out of cardstock.
3. Adobe CS4 Suite: Digitally collecting dust on my PC, I think I should really learn to use the program for more than just removing the permanent dark circles from my eyes.
4. Drivers license: Yes I know being 28 with no license is SHOCKING but being a NYer, my mode of transit is controlled by the MTA. Unfortunately now that my friends are getting older, they are moving further from the city where a car is no longer a luxury but a necessity. Also having a lil person makes traveling via public transit more of a chore.
5. My website: Once upon a time I wanted to start a business. A sweet business full of confections on sticks. I paid for the name and various other website fees INCLUDING hosting. Now if you go to the site there is a logo and a long forgotten dream cleverly disguised in the words 'Under Construction'. Truth is construction ended there since I became a bit busy constructing the future *insert super cool yet important world changing profession here*. So now that the lil one is a bit more manageable (yeah I chuckled too) and I received an email confirming my 2 year renewal, I may just want to get that going again. At least I'll have the hope of making some additional money respectfully instead of breaking out the acrylic heels to pay for the lil ones' preschool tuition. Just sayin'!
So that's all I can think of for now. Do you have a Life To Do list?

The Pricess and The Magic Pillow

Once upon a time, there was a young princess who was sooo beautiful that people came from far and wide just to gaze at the small beauty. She was perfect in every way but as most new arrivals, she could not sleep. The Queen understood that she had to dote over her at all hours of the day and night until the princess gets accustomed to her new surrounding. She doted over her princess day and night and maintained with a few hours of sleep. As a matter of fact, she was so eager to please that actually began sleeping semi-upright in order to get up as quickly as possible to tend to the cranky princess. Small price to pay to keep the princess content.
But alas the lack of sleep began to take it's toll and the usually patient Queen began to behead anyone who would say, do or look at the wrong thing especially the King. This made the King very weary and since he had an entire Kingdom to run and needed his beauty sleep he began to question the Queen's ability to satisfy the needy princess. The kingdom floor was covered in eggshells so the number of kingdom dwellers began diminishing as well.
The Queen sought advice from the Elders to find out if there was anything she can do to put the princess at ease enough to get a few more hours of sleep in order to save the kingdom. Unfortunately, the only words they provided was "Don't worry, it gets better". As much as the Queen had faith in these wise words, the darkening of the circles under her eyes left her unconvinced.
So she visited her local apothecary and picked up some potions that were sure to help her cause. These Little Remedies provided relief for colic and gas and various other ailments that caused the princess discomfort. After just one dose of the gas potion, a noticeable difference in contentment washed over the cranky princess.
Although the princess showed noticeable improvement in mood, her sleep habits left much to still be desired. She slept on a self maintained schedule but the Queen still was left tired. The Queen didn't mind the night watches if only she would be able to catch up during the day.
The Queen decided to take matters into her own hands and sought a happy middle ground with the Princess. After various one sided talks with the Princess, the Queen was struck with a BRILLIANT idea. "Why didn't I think of it before?!?" She exclaimed as she ran to her own bed. After that morning's feeding, the Queen placed the princess on the very pillow that helped her through many a sleepless night. A king sized pillow that was the perfect mix of soft and firm, soothed the cranky princess who slept in the Queen's arms for the extra few hours her majesty needed to function.
Awaking refreshed, she was able to keep her princess happy and maintain the kingdom which satisfied the King greatly. Thanks to the magic pillow, the Royal Family lived ...
HAPPILY EVER AFTER! (for now...)

Tick Tick Tick
On a lighter note, yesterday was a major mommy milestone. It was SJP's one month doc's appointment and I survived it on my own. You see I am what they call transportationally challenged. In other words, I am not an owner of a license thus no car. Wouldn't be a problem if her doctor was closer but her doctor is on another borough of NYC. Close but not close enough to not need some sort of mechanical transportation system. Usually I get to my clinic by subway but with no shots and the swine flu run a muck, not chancing public transportation at this point. Last time I had the hubby to do the heavy lifting but this time I was going solo. Was so nervous that I almost forgot to tell the cab where we were going. LOL! But I made it, got through the appointment pretty well except for the part where she peed on me. Why is it that they can't weigh them with a diaper? Can't you just minus an oz like you do for shoes? SHeesh!
<
Speaking of the flu, my family FINALLY got over there's, so I was able to take the baby over there this weekend. This was the first official meeting of the cousins and I have to say that there was chemistry between them. I can already see them getting into mischief together. =)

Cha-Cha-Cha-Changes...
Lots of things change when you have a baby. Things like running out to the market for milk or the pharmacy for toiletries become alot more involved especially if you don't have someone to watch the lil one for those few minutes. I find myself currently home bound for the majority of my days since giving birth. Not that I'm complaining because ultimately I am a homebody but sometimes it seems like the world is passing me by. These are the times that I truly miss being pregnant. It's a whole different situation when they stop being carry-ons and are now on the outside.
It's been about a month (wow time flies) and although I do get invitations to go out complete with hubby offering to take care of babykins, I feel like I have grown very comfortable in these 4 walls that I find myself declining. I just feel like I'll miss something. Everyone tells me these days are precious and that I should cherish every minute. I know it's still VERY early but I feel like I'm wrong for not wanting to go gallivanting with my girlfriends.
The hubby does go out occasionally (very seldom) because he needs to unwind since he has stresses at work but I don't necessarily feel that need. I am satisfied with the occasional outing to the market or recently with the short walks we do as a family. When does it stop being housebound by choice and begin being hermit like?

A Baby Story Continued...
Ok where was I? Oh yes, the loveliness of the epidural.
It wasn't all that bad. Compared to the contraction pain, the procedure was a cake walk. Especially when you have a nurse (as I did) that holds you so still that everything went VERY smoothly.
According to the Hubby, I went from the girl from the exorcist to the woman he married in a matter of minutes. I apparently don't do well with pain. Sometime afterwards I was able to take a nap only waking to the nurse who came in to check my blood pressure (apparently they can monitor the baby from a control panel at the nurses' station). So after what seemed like 10 minutes (really about 7 hours), the doctor comes in to tell me that the baby seemed to be uncomfortable and that I should turn to my left side to see if that helped. It did but ultimately, the doctor wasn't too thrilled at the level of the baby's heart so he recommended that I get an emergency c-section. At first I thought about the stories that some of my nurse friends told me about some doctors rushing you into the OR because they have lives they want to get back to but them I remembered that my doctor was required to be at the hospital all night and the next morning because that is how my clinic doctors work. So after that thought was shooed away, I told him that whatever it took to make sure my baby was healthy was ok by me.
So off to the OR I went with my hubby in tow. So up went the blanket and on with the c-section...

After hearing that the baby was fine and that the reason she was "uncomfortable" was that the cord was not only around her neck it was tight around her left arm as well. No wonder she hated when I wasn't on my left side. So once I knew she was fine and I heard her cry (the loveliest sound I ever heard), that's when the pain started. Somehow, a nerve in my uterus got pinched and sent a shooting pain down my left arm that I had to keep it up so it won't hurt as much. I thought I was having a heart attack! The hubby was freaking out but you wouldn't have known it since he kept his cool and distracted me from looking at the heart monitor by showing me our daughter and pointing out how beautiful she was. I can't say it didn't work but it's hard for me to stop panicking once I started. My doc was very verbal though. He told me to hold on for a few minutes while he finishes "closing me up" and the anesthesiologist pumped me with happy juice again. Being that the baby was out I was not too worried about the amount of drugs I was getting at the time because I knew if the pain didn't stop, the panic attack that was brewing would have been even worse. Eventually the pain stopped and before I knew it I was being wheeled into the recovery room to be greeted by the 14 family members that were in the waiting room for as long as I was in the hospital. I was still a bit loopy but not nauseous nor dizzy as I was told I might feel. But oh was I thirsty! I couldn't drink anything but I was able to suck on ice chips which I monopolized on. I think I went through a jug and a half of that. Might as well of given me a glass of water. LOL!
After I got my bearings, I was able to hold my daughter for the first time. And was able to see her face up close and fell in love right there!
C'mon Can you blame me? Look at that face!!

A Baby Story
Ok at the risk of confirming that my only 4 readers have put me in the dead blog pile... I decided to forgo a nap to update the happenings of the last 4 weeks...
First and foremost, SJP finally made a grand entrance into the world on April 26th 2009. Did I call that or what?!?!
My Childbirth experience was possibly not the most unique of them all but it certainly was memorable. During my 39th week appointment, Ibegged asked my doctor to give me a "get out of work" note on the grounds of massive exhaustion and swollen tootsies. Unfortunately, those are not deemed medical enough to actually merit a note. Fortunately, high blood pressure does. Not 2 minutes after my doctor was giving me his ethic schpiel (sp?) does the nurse announce that my pressure is sky high and demands I lay on my left side. Needless, to say I left the office not only with coveted note in hand but less a few vials of blood and plus an empty jug with instruction on how to go about peeing in it for 24 hours.
After calling the office, my sister (to make plans to make a much needed Babies R Us run the next day) and my hubby to let him know the happenings of the day... I realized that the instructions my doctor gave me and the directions provided by the lab were somewhat different. Instead of beginning my 24 hours that day into the next, I had to wait until the next morning to begin the process which meant that I would have to bring the jug with me on the shopping trip. NOT FUN! Of course I could have cancelled but like I said it was much needed and I had to take advantage that my sister was off and she had the car. =)
Anyway, back to the story at hand...
Well remember when I said that I thought she'd be as impatient to get out as I was... well that was helped along by my ENTIRE family who kept "coaching" her to come on the Sunday after my mom gets back from her trip to the Equator and before my sis goes to the same destination so they can all be there for the birth. I was a definite naysayer but lo and behold my water broke at 8 AM on April 26th.
After being rushed to the hospital by my sister and my brother in law (the hubby and I are what you call vehicularly challenged), I was in more pain than I ever felt in my life. Not to mention the fact that I was completely panicking before well that's what I do when I'm in pain. My plan of being drugged from the gate was overruled by the doctor who told me it was a bit too early since I was only about 3 cm and they prefer to wait until I'm at least 4 cm which shouldn't be too long. I complied but was not happy at all since I not only was in labor but I had what they call BACK labor in which the pain is centralized in your back area which was horrible because there was no way to get comfortable which made me very CRABBY!
The hubby was awesome though... He rubbed my back during contractions often at the risk of me pinching, biting or causing some type of pain. Hey! At least I didn't scream how much I hated him or anything. That was saved for the resident who had to stick countless things in my hoohaa but did it as painfully as possible (or at least I thought at the time). After a particularly loud encounter she relayed to me that she is going to throw the 4 cm rule to the wind and order the epidural. Was it something I said?
Oops Baby Waking up... To be continued... soon I promise.

The Final Countdown!!
So here I am in my office trying to look productive while struggling to keep my eyes open. You see here at my company, you are required to work until you give birth. Barbaric much? Well not really since once upon a time maternity leave was nonexistent but it's definitely getting harder to waddle in every morning. I can't complain too much about my pregnancy since it hasn't been really bad at all but I'm just ready to be home and lounge about until SJP decides to make an appearance... ya know?
Ah well, only time will tell. I have a doc's appt tomorrow so hopefully he'll sign on the dotted line so I can be a lazy ass for a bit. ;-)
Speaking of lazy assiness... that's what I certainly wasn't this weekend! We finally got the nursery completed and it came out awesomely if I don't say so myself... here are some before and after pics for your viewing pleasure...

Sneak Peek
Call it intuition or just call it impatience, I just feel that SJP will make an appearance before her scheduled April 30th date. I'm officially @ 37 weeks and I swear this kid will be out and about any day now.
Although I cry at the drop of a hat, I have to admit that my pregnancy has not been a bad one. It's been so good my hubby may even consider letting me do it all over again. ;-) Now that I only have 3 weeks I feel like there is so much to do and not enough time to do it.
Remember the nursery... yeah not done. I have the crib but haven't put the crib set on yet. I'm hoping that the Hello Kitty one arrives soon due to a freakish Amazon.com order that was confirmed and then canceled for no reason (at least not one that they provided). It was a gift from my mom which she was very disappointed didn't arrive. I should be receiving it within the next week or so. The border and decals are still in their original packaging and I'm getting more and more exhausted by the day.
I have washed, folded and put away most of the wonderful clothes that we received at our baby shower (pics coming soon) which only made me realize that the dresser that his mom gave us is not nearly big enough to hold all of her little clothes. Unfortunately, the dresser drawers are really shallow so even rolled up, her onesies fill up 2 of the 4 drawers and that is not even all of it. Good thing she has her own closet where we can hang up all of the cute outfits she received.
Her Bassinet is assembled and clothed (plain crib sheet) but is still currently filled with the "to be hung up" clothes that are in need of hangers which we need to buy soon. We have everything we ultimately need (stroller, car seat, humidifier,Baby Champ, Diapers, Bath Tub etc.) but have no where to put them so they are all in the nursery.
Exhaustion is mostly affecting the cleanliness of our new home in a very bad way and hubby is doing as much as he can to keep it under control. I'm trying not to go too nutz with designing and sending out the thank you cards for my shower and ultimately the baby announcements. My feet decide that now is the time to begin the whole SWELLING thing and hubby really believes that I'm going to let him confine me to a bed (or couch) with my mental to do list!
All this and still having to work for well... work. I'm going totally nutzo... Then I see this face
and I know it's ALL worth it! =)

Cribs, Viruses and Baby Announcements
For the record I had the following to-do list in a draft post that never got published...
1. Pick out the pictures we want for the overpriced album the photographer insisted we wanted (now I'm not so sure).
- Icksnayed the whole overpriced photo album since I'd rather just scan the pics and make a digital scrap book (whenever I get the chance that is).
2. Pick out the pallette and theme for the nursery.
- We decided on Lavender and Hello Kitty... pics to come soon =) Word of advice to anyone who cares, take the painter's tape off the wall BEFORE it dries. We learned this the hard way. Hubs still cringes at the fact that I made him go back and touch up all the areas the where tape took the paint off the wall with an artist's brush.
3. Assemble the lovely wood chest my new mommy-in-law and aunt in-law sent us as a gift.
- This was an adventure but it has been done... I love my husband but it seems that there are some things we can't do together. Assembling things is one of them. I swear if I wasn't pregnant he would have thrown the screwdriver at me countless times! ;-)
4. Get out the Thank You Cards for the fam who came to the wedding shindig
- After several trips to Staples for ready made thank you cards. I decided to print them out myself so my last Staples run was for special card stock and ink. Hubby loved the cards but hated that it took me about 4 hours to get them printed. It was all worth it though. They got raving reviews! =)
5. Call the Crib Store Lady to find out the ETA of my Baby Dream Crib
- The Crib has arrived and is ready for pickup. Hubby will have a new project =) This time I think I'll just supervise (Like most men, he scans the instructions and wings it the rest of the way).
6. Do the Baby Announcement Template so all I will have to do is paste a pic of my lovely SJP and send out.
- This is not done but soon will be. Mr. Sandman apparently likes to visit me earlier and earlier these days.
7. Make another checklist of things we need to do before I pop.
- This includes, pre-registering with the hospital, making me an overnight bag, putting the finishing touches on the baby's room, assembling the bassinet/co-sleeper, cleaning up the mess I call my bedroom closet.
So much to do and now I hear that there's some sort of computer virus that will be set to go off on April 1st. What it does ... no one friggin knows but everyone is in a huff over it and me being an IT person have to deal with people coming to me a billion times today asking what's a firewall and how do they get one. Erg! Yes I'm friggin google! So in closing, update your antivirus definitions, turn on at least the Windows Firewall and don't go on sites you don't know on April 1st.
Ciao!

I suck... ok let's move on.
Yes so I haven't blogged in FOREVER neither here nor on my other blog. Why you ask? Well besides the fact that SJP (Previously McNubbin) has been draining the little bits of brain cells I have left, I also am officially a MRS!!! Despite the fact that the hubby (previously the BF) and I felt like we were an old married couple for quite a while now... There is something about signing your single life away Being that I am out to HERE, of course comments of shotgun wedding echoed the halls (or maybe it was just my imagination) but I was a blushing bride none the less. I had the perfect maternity dress that at times (usually when someone stood in front of me) I hardly looked preggos! So here my dedicated readers (the ones that haven't given up on me) I would like to apologize for being a blog slacker but just know it was for good reason.
On the Baby Front: I had my 29th week appointment and everything is going smooth. Blood is great and I even passed the dreaded Glucose test on the first try. So color me happy!

Also in other News... a Great contest is going on at Soft Landing. Be sure to check it out!

I officially love my OB!!
In these hard times, every little bit counts. As most preggo ladies do, I take daily prenatal vitamins to bridge the gap between the vitamin rich meals and the empty calorie ones that we all love so much.
Fortunately, I have insurance that covers most costs but $30 for a bottle of vitamins can really add up. This was the topic of conversation at my first prenatal appointment. With all the financial hoopla that is occurring, I questioned if the prescription stuff was any better than their over the counter equivalents and the doc said although they are pretty much the same, the beauty of the one he gave me is that I only have to take one pill a day as opposed to 2 or 3 that some vitamins require. This sold me because A - I'm lucky to remember to take it once a day and 2 - the price difference wouldn't be too much if I have to take double the dose. So I sucked it up and called it a necessary evil and figured this will be the least of the expenses that comes with a bundle of joy.
Then a few weeks ago, my pharmacy informs me that I would need my doctor to call in another prescription since I was on my last refill. No problem, I call my doc, he says he'll take care of it. I pick up my prescription today and I notice that the wrapped package was a bit bigger than usual and the prescription was $10 more. This struck me as odd but figured it may just have changed from a bottle to a blister pack or something and the price difference was due to the beginning of the year and my deductible. Being that I was late to work, I paid for it and just stuck it in my bag and forgot about it.
Once I got settled, I opened the package and realized that there was a 3-MONTH supply. My doctor apparently heard my cries of poverty and wrote the prescription for 90 vitamins instead of the 30 pack which increases the co-pay but getting 2 extra bottles for $20 more. Awesome Awesome Awesome...
Can you tell how happy I am?!? Who says money can't bring happiness! =)

EXTRA! EXTRA! Read all about it!!!!
So the last few weeks has been chock full of excitement that I could hardly sit still (when I wasn't sleeping). Add the existing baby brain, I haven't been able to string two sentences enough to write an adequate post. But here I am trying...Since I moved out of my apartment to move into my BF's place, I have been living without cable TV. Unlike many cultured well rounded people, I'm very much a TV watcher and I think I have done well coping with only 7 (albeit fuzzy) channels. That is until I started my vacation from work. Let me tell you, Daytime TV has become the largest amount of trash I have ever encountered. It was bad before but since when has a Court Room allowed Lie Detection as admissable evidence in a small claims case?!? SERIOUSLY?!? Ugh! To top it all off, NY is in a deep freeze so going out requires about 5 layers of clothes and the courage to walk through the amount of slippery ice there is between the door and anywhere you may want to go. Inside Edition seems to be the highlight of the day thus it is what is currently playing in the background... Did you know someone landed in jail for overdue library books. If that's the case, I should be doing some HARD time.
Enough about the downfall of Television today... off to some reallyl good news. First, I finally closed on my condo! YAY!!! I plan to move in this weekend and am so excited! Looking around, there's still so much to do but it's mostly big things so I'm not too worried.

On the McNubbin front, I finally had my 21 week appointment and found out that not only is the baby hyperly healthy, McNubbin is officially a GIRL!!!
I also lucked out with the technician since she was patient, attentive, laughed at our jokes and gave us about 12 pictures of our lil one including a few of those 3D ones which were awesome! Totally worth the extra co-pay. Once I scan them I will post them here but for now I should make myself useful and begin to pack my clothes for the move. =)~

And the saga continues...
I know I've been MIA since about mid November but if I tell you what my To-do list looks like for the last month you will wonder when I found time to sleep. Well not really... I do have alot to do but somehow my brain makes it seem alot worse than it really is (as proven by the Fiance last night when he made me write down what was left of the list).
A bit more detail you ask... well ok! If you insist ;-)~ So if you have read my other blog, you'd know that for some time now I've been working on becoming a bonafide homeowner. Back in July the deal fell through but as it turns out it was a blessing in disguise since not 2 months later I find out that the one bedroom I had my eye on would prove to be too small for what was to come. Unfortunately, this required much more paperwork and everything but my first born child (they're not gettin' McNubbin!). Another shock to the system for me was having to give up my old apartment prematurely. Premature because instead of a shiny new condo, my boxes are sitting in a dingy storage facility and I moved in with the Fiance. it made no sense to pay 2 rents and his was cheaper.
Giving up my first apartment was hard. It was the first place I called my own and I admit I was a bit shell shocked when I woke up at his place knowing that would not go back to the place I once called home. The Fiance was awesome in letting me adjust as long as it took (which wasn't too long) and definitely made it feel as comfortable as possible. Now I'm well adjusted in my new digs until we are able to move into our brand spankin new love nest which if the bank speaks true will be before Christmas.
Speaking of Holidays, Thanksgiving was awesome. My sister decided to host it this year and we all pitched in our signature dishes (and not so signature ones too) and we feasted for hours... so mych in fact that I ended up nauseous and in bed. I guess McNubbin doesn't like turkey too much. Oh well, Luckily my mom snagged a few pics before the gorging began.

Did I mention that this picture was taken when I was put on mandated couch duty since I have a tendency of forgetting that preggy ladies should not be on their feet for 6 hours at a time... Legs. Hurt. Badly. Who knew?

Runway Model I am NOT!

Last week I sucked it up and realized that not even the strongest Bella Band will allow me to continue to wear even my largest pairs of jeans not to mention that I was really testing the STRETCH in my stretch work pants. So I went shopping and to my (relieved) surprise, long gone are the days of moo moos and big shirts.
My main goal was work clothes because I'm sure that my comfy sweats would be against the dress code. Being the
So for those who, like me, are waiting for the last possible second to buy maternity clothes let me tell you... WAIT NO LONGER. These clothes are so comfy that they give my comfy sweats a run for their money and if you're lucky enough to be preggos during a sale, the amount you spend will not be too bad. I actually spent the same amount that I would normally spend on my regular clothes. I know, Maternity clothes should be on a different scale since you don't really wear them for long but you know something... I am so comfy that I may just continue wearing them well after McNubbin's arrival. I hear the Bella band makes a great tube top to corporatize a plunging neckline ;-)~

The Big Question
Being that I'm about 13 weeks now and I've told some people of McNubbin, the most common question I'm getting is whether I'm going to find out what the gender is and what do I secretly wish for.Of course, I don't care what the gender is as long as it is healthy but the fact of knowing before the birth is something that I really have
If I do choose to find out I feel you will be better prepared with clothes and such since although I'm not too fond of the Pink/Blue color scheme usually reserved for newborns, the Green/Yellow scheme doesn't really tickle my fancy either. I'm thinking once the gender is known it opens up so many more wardrobe possibilities. Yes, priorities people. LOL!
So I'm so far leaning towards knowing but am still teetering back and forth. Any opinions?
